In the country of Haiti, "The Voodoo mindset is so ingrained in the way people think and live ... that it affects every aspect of life."  That's the observation of Kate Michel of Radio 4VEH in Haiti.  Knowing the foothold that Satan has in the lives of Haitians through Voodoo, it's vital that Haitian Christians understand the supremacy of the LORD God.  Here are three passages from the Psalms that attest to this fact:

"For the LORD is the great God,
And the great King above all gods."  (Psalm 95:3, NKJV)

"For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised;
He is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
But the LORD made the heavens.
"  (Psalm 96:4-5, NKJV)

"For You, LORD, are most high above all the earth;
You are exalted far above all gods."  (Psalm 97:9, NKJV)

While Haitians might see their Voodoo spirits as powerful, there is no doubt that our Creator God--"the only true God" (John 17:3, NKJV)-- is far greater and far mightier.  Plus, He has proven Himself to be far more loving!
