When people use the word "missional," what do they mean?  Well, it depends on who is using the word.  To begin with, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines the word "mission" as "a specific task with which a person or a group is charged."(1)  As Christian believers, churches, and ministries, our Lord Jesus has given us our "specific task": "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19a, NKJV).  So, our specific mission is Jesus' Great Commission, and when we stay focused on the Great Commission, we are "missional."  TWR President Lauren Libby explains the "missional" work of TWR on today's Footsteps.  Give it a listen, pray for the ministry, and then consider how you might join us in this "missional," global assignment.
