It's one thing for me, a 40-year veteran of Christian broadcasting, to brag about the global popularity of radio, but a more unbiased source is the United Nations.  The U.N. maintains that "at the global level, radio remains the most widely consumed medium."(1)  Let me turn to one more source--Joseph Kebbie of New Life Africa.  On today's Footsteps, Joseph takes us back to his days as a refugee in Africa.  He recalls, "During that time, I saw the power of radio."  Not only did God use radio to minister to Joseph, but He's still using radio every minute of every day to reach millions of listeners around the world with the Gospel.  As you listen to today's episode, join me in thanking God that he has called Joseph as well as me into this massively effective ministry tool!
