Rejoicing with the Roma
The Roma, or gypsies as they are commonly called, live in Central and Eastern Europe. If you do a web search on them, you'll discover something quickly--the population numbers for the Roma vary greatly. For instance, on the Wikipedia site for the Roma or Romani people, the total population is listed as between 2 million and 12 million. What's the deal? The Roma are viewed so negatively that many countries in Europe don't even count the Roma in their official census numbers because they don't want them. But, the Roma are not forgotten in Werner Kroemer's heart. Werner is a long-time veteran of TWR, and on today's Footsteps, Werner says it was always on his heart for TWR to reach "these most unwanted people."
