Elisabeth Saeth says that her work as Norway's coordinator for TWR's Women of Hope involves raising "awareness of the plight of women around the world" and teaching others "how much power there is in prayer, and that we, as women and men in Norway, can make a difference in the world through our prayers."  So, can our prayers really be powerful?  Yes!  Let's not forget what Scripture tells us: "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16b, NIV).
