There is no doubt that we need to be physically fit, and in order to stay in good shape, we must “be active.”  Ed Cannon, President and CEO of FEBC (Far East Broadcasting Company) admonishes believers on today’s Footsteps to “be active” in the Great Commission.  But really, when you think about it, how can true followers of Christ sit at home and do nothing?  As Scottish preacher Robert Murray McCheyne (1813-1843) was quoted to have said, “Leave your home, your comforts, your bed, your ease, your all, to feed lost souls.  The Lord of glory left heaven for this; it is enough for the disciple to be as his Master.”(1)
