Fourteen Years
Jim Hill says he was drawn to full-time missionary service with TWR when he heard a testimony from a TWR-Bonaire listener in Venezuela who said, “I listened to you every day for fourteen years before I finally put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.” Wow … fourteen years!
Former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill once wrote, “If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time--a tremendous whack.”(1)
While TWR is not “whacking” people over the head with the Gospel, we do “have an important point to make,” and we’re making it day after day … year after year. And, in time, it does make a difference!
