In today's Footsteps, Greg Hauser of Grace To You talks about the "huge excitement" of their staff concerning the expansion of John MacArthur's expository preaching into several new languages and countries.  Why shouldn't they be excited?  This new outreach lines up with the heartbeat of John MacArthur and Grace Community Church.  In a sermon titled, "Our Mandate for Missions," Dr. MacArthur opened up his heart by saying,

"The translation of the Bible, the planting of churches, training of leaders, this is the heart and soul of what we do, what Grace Church missionaries are all about.  And it's our passion...I might have wished in God's purposes He had made me a missionary.  That's not what He did.  But if He had done that in my life, I would have rejoiced at that great privilege."  (John MacArthur, "Our Mandate for Missions," October 8, 2006, accessed October 23, 2015, http://www.gty.org/resources/sermons/80-315)

While God hasn't called John MacArthur to physically serve on a foreign mission field, God is using Dr. MacArthur's messages, delivered from his pulpit in California, to proclaim the Gospel to many people around the world.
