"Thank you for bringing the broadcast to us."  According to TWR's George Ross, those translated words accompanied a large photograph of people from two villages in the Tibetan foothills who had accepted Jesus Christ as Savior.  They had come to Christ after hearing TWR's test broadcast into their area, and out of their excitement and gratitude, these new believers had sent their huge thank you note to the TWR staff on Guam. 

Should we be surprised?  Let me remind you of what Jesus said when he commissioned His discipes in Matthew 28:18 (ESV): "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations ..."   As we proclaim the Gospel to every nation and people group, we go and preach under the authority of Jesus!  The Gospel will have an impact.  People will come to Christ!  I like the way John Stott puts it, "His authority on earth allows us to dare to go to all the nations.  His authority in heaven gives us our only hope of success.  And His presence with us leaves us no other choice."(1)
