In many countries around the world, there is a lack of Biblical education among pastors, and that includes the South American country of Ecuador.  According to Fred Jonkman, a missionary based in Quito, "about 80% of the pastors have no training whatsoever."  So, how do we train all these pastors?  In Fred's case, he has answered God's call by serving as a professor with Miami International Seminary, and on today's Footsteps, Fred tells us his seminary's approach: "We go to the different locations, and we teach there."  Way to go Fred!  As you listen to today's program, pray for Fred Jonkman and his colleagues as they fill this much-needed void in Ecuador.
