When God called our family to missionary service with TWR, we wrestled with the thought of uprooting and relocating to a new home and career.  We had a lot to consider--especially the impact that the transition woud have on our two boys.  But in our case, we only had to move our family 500 miles to an adjacent state.  At least we remained in our home country of the U.S.  On the other hand, when God called Fred and Arlene Jonkman to the mission field, they had to move their family from their home in Canada all the way to Ecuador in South America.  Now that's a BIG move!  So, looking back over the last 20-plus years, has it been worth it?  You'll hear Arlene's perspective on today's Footsteps.  And yes, the title of this blog, "No Regrets," will give you a hint!  Still, her insights might just help you and your family should the Lord ever call you to the mission field.
