I met missionaries Fred and Arlene Jonkman on a retreat in Guayaquil, Ecuador.  This missionary retreat was hosted by the Christian Hospitality Network and Dallas Bay Church (Hixson, TN).  Along with being a time of relaxation and refreshment, the missionaries were treated with a surpise--letters from home!  On today's Footsteps, Arlene shares letters from two of her adult children.  Have you ever wondered, "Is growing up on a foreign field fair to missionary kids?"  Have you asked that question concerning your own children as you've contemplated making "that leap of faith" to missionary service.  Well, your question just might be answered when you listen to today's program.
