From before the time of Christ through the mid-15th century, silk was transported and traded along several routes that connected the Far East with Europe and the Middle East.  These routes collectively became known as the Silk Road.  If you look at the Silk Road on a map, you will notice that it passed through Central Asia, and it's in this Central Asian region that TWR has established a new radio signal.  Appropriately, we refer to it as the Silk Road Transmitter.  While silk was certainly an expensive commodity, TWR is delivering a much more valuable treasure--the Word of God!
