Step Here
When I was a young boy, our family would vacation in Gatlinburg, Tennessee which borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. At least once on each trip, we would drive into the national park and stop alongside the Little River--a picturesque stream which meanders through the Smokies. We would take off our shoes, roll up our pants, and carefully step from one smooth stone to another doing our best to avoid falling into the cold, rushing water. Those memories come to mind as I listen to today's Footsteps with former missionary Ken Cummins. But, Ken takes the concept of stepping stones to a higher, more spiritual level. That's why I think today's Footsteps titled "Step Here" is a valuable resource to all of us who follow the call of Jesus--especially if you sense that the Lord is calling you in the direction of missions!
