"There was a big vacuum when the Soviet Union ended" in Central Asia, says "Edwin," our guest on today's edition of Footsteps.  Edwin is speaking of a religious or faith vacuum.  Others have tried to fill this vacuum with religion.  But as believers in Jesus, we know that the vacuum can only be filled with the person of Christ--our Savior.  In his book Pensees, written in the 1600s, Blaise Pascal put it this way:

"Man tries unsuccessfully to fill this void with everything that surrounds him. ... This infinite abyss can be filled only with an infinite, immutable object, that is to say, God himself."(1)

May God use TWR and the new Silk Road Transmitter to introduce the people of Central Asia to the one true God!
