At the beginning of many episodes of Footsteps, you'll hear an announcer say, "Encouraging you to step out into YOUR mission field, this is Footsteps from TWR."  The purpose is to inspire you to share your faith with your neighbors and coworkers.  So, we spend a lot of time equipping listeners in the area of personal evangelism.  On today's Footsteps, Ruth Hicks shares a bit about her approach to telling others about Jesus.  Ruth serves in Ecuador with CECE--"that's the equivelant of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship."  Concerning sharing Christ on the university campus, Ruth says, "We use the analogy of bridges."  Whether it's a particular academic field of study, current event, or even a hobby, the idea is to use those topics as a springboard for discussions about faith.  But first of all, pray!  Then, start a conversation, and see where the Holy Spirit leads.
