Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The year of 2018 has been turbulent for the TWR360 team. One TWR360 team member went so far as to refer to 2018 as "the year of fire and rain."
Last Christmas, our building was set on fire, which led to ten months of restorations. Then just as the restorations were almost finished, a major hurricane hit our area causing the most flooding our area has experienced in its recorded history!
How about you? We would not be surprised if many of you experienced a turbulent year of your own. Even if things have gone well most of the year, this end-of-year holiday period may have brought you a painful reminder of a dysfunctional family or the loneliness of a broken relationship.
Do not lose hope!
In God's Word it says, "Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert." This quote from Isaiah 43:19 reminds us that God provides us a way out when we are lost or dry. This verse challenges us to remain aware of what God is doing and trust him through all circumstances.
God is always present and available to you! Psalm 139:7-8 confirms this for us: "Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there."
With God, you can have assurance of a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 reads: "'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the LORD. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'"
With God, all things are possible. In Matthew 19:24, Jesus says, "'Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.' When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, 'Who then can be saved?' But Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the TWR360 Team!
