An Oasis for Nigeria
In Exodus 15, we read about the children of Israel's journey through the desert of Shur:
"After leaving Marah, the Israelites traveled on to the oasis of Elim, where they found twelve springs and seventy palm trees. They camped there beside the water." (Exodus 15:27, NLT)
Let's advance the timeline to our present day. While not everyone in Africa is living in a desert, many people in Nigeria are experiencing a spiritual desert. Imagine for a minute, that instead of "seventy palm trees," you see a tall radio tower, and rather than "twelve springs," Nigerians have access to one powerful radio signal, and that radio station is providing the living water of God's Word.
