A Rushing Mountain Stream
When I was a boy, our family's regular vacation spot was Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and on each trip, we would drive into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and stop somewhere along the Little River. My sister and I always enjoyed trying to navigate our way across the cold mountain stream by stepping from one rock to another. That's the image that instantly came to mind as Barbara Kohl was describing "a rushing mountain stream" in the Austrian Alps. As you listen to today's Footsteps, I'm sure you'll see a similar mountain stream in your mind. I also bet you'll never forget her illustration concerning this rushing stream and the Christian life. You must listen!
