"He may look at you funny, but he is recovering."  That's what my friend and former TWR colleague Perry Beabout was told about a particular Jordanian Christian.  So, from what was this Joradian man recovering?  Well, you'll have to listen to today's episode of Footsteps for his story.  But as you listen, keep these three verses in mind:

"I waited patiently for the LORD;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps
He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the LORD."  (Psalm 40:1-3, NKJV)

If the Lord rescued this Jordanian man out of his "horrible pit," I know our God can bring you out of the "miry clay" that is pulling you down.  So, if that's where you are today--stuck in a pit of sin--then cry out to Jesus.  He will hear you, and He will help you recover too!
