Just before the children of Israel crossed the Jordan River and entered the Promised Land, the Lord told Joshua, "Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9, ESV).  While Joshua was still in the wilderness, God promised that He was with Joshua and that He would always be with Him.

On today's Footsteps, we hear the story of Janice Oliver.  While she was serving with the Peace Corps "in a really isolated area" of Colombia, she felt "all alone."  But, it was through TWR-Bonaire that God reminded her that she was not alone.  The LORD was with her.

Do you ever feel alone?  Child of God, tune into a Christian radio station.  Listen to the teaching of God's Word.  Fill your ears, heart, and soul with music that's grounded in Scripture.  Or, open up your Bible and simply begin reading.  God will speak to you and remind you that you are not alone.  He is with you!
