Throughout the years with Footsteps, I've recorded stories of TWR listeners from closed countries who copied down books of the Bible as they heard them read on the radio.  I also remember the story of a man who carried all of the loose pages of his personal, typewritten Bible in a suitcase.  And on today's Footsteps, TWR's Daniel Plett tells the story of a young woman whose youth group used a handwritten, photocopied "music book."  These types of stories show the importance of TWR in countries where a believer can't drive to the nearest Christian bookstore to purchase a hymnbook.  Neither can he or she safely go online and order a new Bible.  Their Christian resources come by listening to the radio and carefully copying what they hear.  That's sobering.
