When God called me to leave my work of 24 years at Moody Radio in Chattanooga, TN, move to Cary, NC, and serve as a missionary with TWR, He made it extremely clear.  On today's Footsteps, I asked my TWR colleague Daniel Plett about his calling to TWR.  Daniel said, "I don't know how to say it except that He spoke very clearly."

I know that some Christians can get in a paralyzed state as they wait on God for direction.  They become anxious about their next step in life or ministry.  If that describes you, think about this fact: God is your Heavenly Father.  Do you really think your Father in Heaven is saying, "I've got something important for you to do, but I'm not going to tell you what it is?"  While the Lord likely won't tell you every detail of everything that He wants you to do for the rest of your life, I'm confident that He will make that first step "very clear" for you.  Then you'll have to trust Him to show you each additional step along the way.  Those steps will come in His timing, for His glory, and will help you grow in your faith.
