Many churches in the United States have programs for children such as Sunday school, preschool, and vacation Bible school.  By reaching out to children, not only is a church ministering to those boys and girls, but the church is likely to impact their parents as well.  Now, let's move from the United States to India where there are needy children everywhere.  That's why Kevin White of Global Hope India maintains that in order to reach the country of India, we "can't advance the Gospel and ignore the needs of the children."  Besides, we must not forget what Jesus told His disciples in Luke 18:16 (ESV):

"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God."
