On today's Footsteps, Charles Morris of Haven Today tells a story from Cuba which demonstrates how our gracious God "makes a way!"  Of course!  God is sovereign, and His hand of providence is always at work.  Here's how J.I. Packer describes God's providence:

"The providence of God is the unceasing activity of the Creator whereby, in overflowing bounty and goodwill, He upholds His creatures in ordered existence, guides and governs all events, circumstances, and free acts of angels and men, and directs everything to its appointed goal, for His own glory."(1)

In summary, if it is God's will for something to happen, He will make a way.  Guaranteed!
