"I ... was tugged in my heart to really consider radio ministry."  Those words are part of Victor Kaonga's call to Christian broadcasting, and that "tug" began at an early age.  Today, he serves as the National Director for TWR-Malawi, and recently, I had the pleasure of traveling to Africa and working alongside Victor.  As I spent time with him, I observed his passion for ministry and his love for the people of Malawi.  As you listen to today's Footsteps, consider the fact that God began putting this passion, love, and interest in radio in Victor's heart when he was just a young schoolboy.  I'm obviously reminded of Proverbs 22:6 (ESV): "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
