"We just need a heart check," says Anne Graham Lotz on today's Footsteps.  To begin with, who is she addressing?  The answer is believers--especially those of us in full-time ministry work.  Secondly, what exactly does Anne mean by a "heart check?"  Basically, in the years since we first entered into a loving relationship with Jesus, our Savior, have we slowly drifted away from Him?  As Christ puts it in His letter to the church at Ephesus in Revelation 2:4, have you "left your first love?"  I know in my busyness at TWR, I have been guilty of working so hard that I forget to spend time with Jesus--who is the reason for my work!  I need frequent "heart checks."  How about you?
