On today's Footsteps, Charles Morris of Haven Today reports that the underground church in Iran "is growing very rapidly, and it is the fastest growing revival in the world today."  Wait a second.  Iran is a "closed country."  It's a place where Christians are persecuted.  Yes, that's true.  But throughout the centuries, the Church has been built with the hammer of persecution.  As you listen to today's program, think about this quote from pastor Randy Smith:

"... persecution strengthens believers.  Throughout history the church is always the strongest when it undergoes persecution.  God knows that persecution moves us to leave our comfort zones, be able to better defend our faith, have greater missionary zeal, be more dedicated to personal and group prayer and count the cost with greater intensity."(1)
