For the first half of our sons' education, we were a homeschool family.  Through homeschooling, my wife and I quickly discovered that our two boys had different learning styles.  In fact, we all have different learning styles.  Some of us are visual learners, while others learn better by listening.  Some learn well by quietly sitting at a desk, while others need to move around and even have music playing in the background.  Now, let's look at the two most basic ways of learning--those who read and write versus those who come from an oral culture.  But practically speaking, how do we teach the Bible to a group of people who don't even have a written language?  Dean Lundberg of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) recommends storying.  You can learn about storying by listening to today's Footsteps AND by clicking on the link below for OneStory.
