In 1 Corinthians 3:5-6 (NKJV), the apostle Paul writes, "Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?  I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase."  For some skeptics, we need to add another, earlier step to this process of coming to know Christ--"Dave Fisher pulled weeds."  For most of his 58 years with TWR, the late Dave served as the editor for TWR's program, Truth In The Test Tube.  On today's Footsteps, Dave referred to "those who have never thought seriously about God."  He was referencing the parable of the sower in Matthew 13:7 (ESV)--"Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them."  So Dave's approach was to "pull weeds before planting seeds."  What exactly are some of these "weeds?"  You definitely need to listen to this program!
