Did you realize that "there are master switches in a lot of countries where they can turn your digital access on and off ... or they can filter it?"  TWR's Shawn Boyd opens our eyes to this type of censorship on today's Footsteps.  Honestly, his comments about "master switches" sound like a backdrop for a futuristic novel or for an episode of Doctor Who, but this situation is actually happening today in certain parts of the world.  Because of this reality, TWR transmits powerful radio signals across the borders of these digitally restrictive countries and into the homes of people who often must listen secretly.  This scenario is just another reason why those of us at TWR say, "Hope knows no barriers."
