Many countries are dealing with immigration issues these days.  For instance, through the years, over a million Cubans have escaped their island country and immigrated to the United States.  Well, on today's Footsteps, Dan Warne, host and Bible teacher on El Faro de Redencion, explains "a better immigration" for the Cuban people.  Dan is not talking about a physical or geographical immigration.  Instead, he describes a spiritual immigration--one that is brought about by the Gospel, and this "better immigration" is actually available to everyone regardless of nationality.  If you are confused about these comments, then let me offer you a few verses from the second chapter of Ephesians (NKJV):

"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins ... " (verse 1)

"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus ..." (verses 4-6)

"But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ." (verse 13)

"Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God." (verse 19)

Those verses describe a wonderful immigration, a great salvation for our souls, and an unending citizenship in Heaven.  So, have you ever put your faith in Jesus and immigrated from death to eternal life?  If not, then I encourage you to click on the link below and watch a video about knowing God.
