"I began to see a great change in the spiritual life of the church," observed a church leader in a rural provence in China.  What prompted this "great change?"  He explained, "Things changed when we received grace from God through TWR."  I'm glad that this church leader recognized the source of the change--God.  Yes, God used TWR as the delivery system, and that's a humbling honor.  But ultimately, it was God's grace that made the difference.  The apostle Peter sums up this truth in 1 Peter 5:10-11 (NKJV):

"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.  To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever.  Amen."

In this fallen world, we all experience suffering, and in some parts of the world, Christians endure more suffering than in other regions.  However, because of God's grace, even as we suffer, we are blessed with peace, strength, steadfastness, and spiritual maturity.  May God be praised for His all-sufficient grace!
