Short Stories
In English literature, a short story can be anywhere from three to twenty pages or more long. However, when TWR's Shawn Boyd speaks of the testimonies that we receive from TWR listeners in closed countries like North Korea, he points out that "those stories tend to be short." And he means really short! Often those notes contain just a couple of carefully written sentences. Why? Because their correspondence with TWR could be monitored. They have to be extremely careful. And yet, as they secretly listen to TWR's radio signal, they are so excited and grateful that they feel complelled to contact us--even at great risk! I find that inspiring.
