I am hearing from multiple sources that it is getting increasingly difficult to openly proclaim the Gospel in Russia.  But Pavel Shifman, today's guest on Footsteps, has some good news.  He maintains, "Now, we believe this is like the comeback of the spiritual hunger we feel in the country."  I believe Matthew 5:6 (ESV) applies here:

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."

I hope you'll join me in praying that our loving and gracious Heavenly Father would fill the spiritually hungry and thirsty in Russia with more and more of Himself.  After all, He's the only source of true and lasting satisfaction.
