Life for many people in Cuba is difficult.  In fact, in recent weeks, thousands of Cubans have taken to the streets of Havana to protest a lack of food, medicine, and freedom.  For some, the situation might seem hopeless.  That's why TWR-Bonaire's powerful radio signal into Cuba is so important.  As Jason and Adina Helmholdt explain on today's Footsteps, TWR's programs are pointing the Cuban people to "that eternal hope" that is found only through Jesus.  Just as the apostle Paul prayed for Ephesus, let us pray for Cuba:

"... that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe ..." (Ephesians 1:17-19a, NKJV)

May the Cuban people experience that type of spiritually rich, powerful, and lasting hope.
