There are times when God calls us out of our comfort zones, and often, it's during those uncomfortable seasons when we experience spiritual growth.  That has been the case for Savannah Prince.  She chose TWR for her college internship, and on today's Footsteps, Savannah explains that she experienced "growing pains" during her summer internship in our Cary, NC offices.  Yes, growing pains can hurt, but they generally are necessary for physical and spiritual maturity.  Do you remember how the apostle Paul described the process?  We can "glory in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope" (Romans 5:3-4, NIV).  Thankfully, I don't think Savannah experienced any serious suffering during her internship,  but on today's program she does admit that she arrived at TWR "a little bit unsettled." However, after a summer of "growing pains," her spiritual growth is very evident to us all!
