A Funeral and a Radio
Funerals are often a time of reflection. Not only do we remember the past, but we contemplate the future. And for believers in Jesus, there is good news about our future!
"If we have hoped in Christ only in this life, we are of all people most to be pitied.
"But the fact is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man death came, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive." (1 Corinthians 15:19-22, NASB)
It's a "fact!" Through Jesus, we can experience our own resurrection from the dead. Really! But how?
"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16, NASB)
Do you want to have eternal life in Heaven? Then believe in Jesus. It's that simple. And on today's Footsteps, FEBC President Ed Cannon introduces us to an Indonesian woman who believed in Jesus and wanted to tell everyone about him ... even after she had died. So, what did she do? Well, you really need to listen to today's program to hear her creative approach to evangelism! And, if you never have put your faith in Jesus, then I encourage you to click on the link below and watch a video about "Knowing God."
