On today's Footsteps, TWR's Global Men's Ministry Director Lonnie Berger quotes Jesus in John 17:3 (ESV):

"And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent."

This is an astounding concept!  Christianity is much more than a religion.  It's a relationship ... with God Himself.  Not only does our Maker graciously open the doors of Heaven to those who simply believe in Jesus, but we have the honor and pleasure of "knowing" Him now and then spending an unlimited amount of time with Him throughout eternity.  That's amazing!  I hope you can identify with the apostle Paul when he says, "I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord" (Philippians 3:8a, ESV).
