"Jesus, we have to realize, is real," explains TWR President Lauren Libby on today's Footsteps.  "He's not a creed.  He's not an institution.  He's an actual real person."  And mazingly, Jesus invites us to have a deep, growing, personal relationship with Him!  We're not talking about a famous athlete, movie star, or political leader.  We're talking about the Savior of the world!  Furthermore, Jesus, this "real live person" of the Godhead or Trinity, has been extending love and grace to you and me LONG before we were ever born.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blamelss in his sight.  In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordancde with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us."  (Ephesians 1:3-8a, ESV)

With this biblical truth in mind, let's boldly and excitedly introduce others to Jesus, our Savior and Friend.
