God Kicked the Door Open

"I will visit you after passing through Macedonia," wrote the Apostle Paul to the believers in Corinth.  "But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to me" (1 Corinthians 16:5a & 8-9a, ESV).  Well, we know from Scripture that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8, ESV), and I can assure you that our loving Lord is still opening doors for effective ministry.  As an example, listen to today's Footsteps featuring John Thomas.  John serves with TWR's men's ministry Every Man A Warrior, and on today's program, John recalls a recent trip to several prisons in Kenya where "God just kicked the doors open as soon as we got there."  May our door-opening God be praised!
