Pete Walker has been a frequent guest on Footsteps.  With each conversation, I'm truly inspired by his passion and boldness for personal evangelism.  On today's program, he taught me an important lesson: Use Scripture when you share the Gospel with others.  He points out 2 Timothy 3:15 (NKJV):

" ... from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."

It could not be any plainer.  God's Word is "able to make you wise for salvation through faith!"  Do we want to be effective instruments of the Lord as we tell others about Him?  Do we want our friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members to come to a saving faith in Jesus?  Absolutely.  Then we must be ready to share Scripture with them because God's Word is truly powerful!
