You Have the Victory
(NEW: You can now listen to today’s MY Devotional on Leading The Way’s daily devotional podcast!)
In order to block the enemy’s attacks, you must learn more about his tactics. This does not mean spending an abnormal amount of time thinking about Satan and his methods, but it does mean accepting the fact that Satan and his forces are both real and active in our world today.
The way to victory over the enemy includes knowledge of the way he thinks and attacks and remembering that believers are assured of victory even before the first shot is fired.
If you are experiencing defeat after defeat, it may be because you are not living a spiritually alert life. It could also be that you have chosen to ignore God’s instructions and commands somewhere along the way. Wherever you find yourself, the grace and power of God are always available to protect, lead, and redirect you back to the path of life again.
You may be thinking, “I am not afraid of the devil.” That isn’t the issue. The real issue is whether the enemy is afraid of Christ’s life in you.
Prayer: God, help me to live in such a way that the enemy is afraid of Your life in me. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).
