On today's Footsteps, Dirk Mueller, TWR's International Director for Europe, talks about a meeting he had with Alex, the Director for TWR-Ukraine.  Dirk asked Alex, "What is the biggest need for you?"  After a short pause, Alex responded, "For the war to stop."  That's a big request!  But hey, God can handle requests of that magnitude.  In fact, our Heavenly Father encourages us to approach Him with our biggest needs.

"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16, NKJV)

Or, in another translation,

"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16, ESV)

Let us follow in the footsteps of our Ukrainian brother and pray boldly and confidently for the present war to stop.
