I work with a wonderful group of people at TWR.  It's truly a large global family.  Today, I'd like to introduce you to one of my friends and colleagues--Karen Barkhuizen.  Karen and her husband Anthony serve with TWR in our South Africa office.  Karen's role is Audience Relations Manager for TWR's Africa region, and on today's Footsteps, Karen shares a letter from a woman whom she describes as "a listener ... donor ... friend."  As you listen to today's program, take notice of the fact that Karen has built a one-on-one relationship with this lady.  While radio is certainly mass media, it's also an intimate medium.  Our regular listeners know us, and in many cases, we truly know them.
