By profession, Doug Groters is a schoolteacher.  In his spare time, Doug leads small groups of men through Every Man A Warrior.  Why is he so passionate about men's ministry?  As Doug explains on today's Footsteps, "Over the last nineteen years, I've seen the erosion of the family through the lives of my students."  Doug's not the only one making such a claim.  According to pastor and Bible teacher John MacArthur:

"The family was God's first earthly institution.  Before there was a government, and long before God instituted the church, He ordained marriage and the family as the basic building block of society.  The destruction of the family we are witnessing today is, I believe, a harbinger of the ultimate collapse of our entire society."(1)

So, how do we stop the "erosion" or "destruction" of the family?  Every Man A Warrior teaches that we must start with the men!
