Garth Kennedy serves as the Station Director for TWR's West Africa Transmitting Station (also known as WATS).  From WATS, TWR broadcasts the Gospel to the entire country of Nigeria--Africa's most populous country.  Are you aware that Nigeria is an extremely difficult place for many followers of Christ?  In fact, Nigeria is ranked #6 on Open Door's 2023 World Watch List for Christian persecution.(1)  Thankfully, Garth and the TWR staff are boldly sharing the love of Jesus with the Nigerian people every day.  I'm reminded of the apostle Paul's declaration in Romans 1:16 (NIV):

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile."

After listening to today's Footsteps, please pray for my friend Garth Kennedy and the rest of the WATS team.  Thanks!
