I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing on September 11, 2001.  I was on the air at WMBW in Chattanooga, TN when the news started coming across our Associated Press computer that a plane had crashed into one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City.  Over the next several hours, I reported on the unfolding events of the terrorist attacks, and at the same time, offered our listeners peace and hope from God's Word.

On today's Footsteps, TWR's Ted Siemens takes us to the massive earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023, and he talks about the way TWR is responding to the needs of listeners.  "When your life is upended," Ted explains, "suddenly, you are looking for hope.  Your eyes have been opened to want to find something of truth."

In times of crisis, such as natural disasters or war, God is using TWR to point people to the hope of Jesus and the truth found in Scripture.  That's what many people want.  That's what all people need.
