When natural disasters strike, such as the devastating earthquakes that have shaken Turkey and Syria, many people are asking, "Does God care that I've gone through this?"  On today's Footsteps, TWR's Ted Siemens points out that ministries like TWR must be ready throughout the ensuing weeks, months, and years to answer the tough questions that come from hurting listeners.  I would add that all believers must be ready to answer those difficult "why" questions from those around us who are hurting.  Let's keep 1 Peter 3:15 (NIV) in mind:

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.  Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.  But do this with gentleness and respect."
