In "Russia right now, (it is) probably the best stage to evangelize," maintains Dr. Evgeny Bakhmutsky of Russia Bible Church in Moscow.  On today's Footsteps, Dr. Bakhmutsky gives the reasons for his claim.  I encourage you to listen to the program, and as you do, let me give you another reason for sharing the Good News with Russia "right now"--because we are one day closer to the "coming of the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:15, NIV) and because "the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night" (1 Thessalonians 5:2, NIV).  As theologian Carl F.H. Henry once said, "The gospel is only good news if it gets there in time."(1)  So, today is the best time for sharing Christ with Russia as well as with the rest of the world.
